Tulsa has reached a historic moment when the choices we make will shape our community and region for generations to come. My experiences - from being a dad with kids in public schools to working as a 911 dispatcher - put me in a position to speak to the issues that affect Tulsans on a daily basis.
Simply put: I'm running to bring policy solutions that will improve people's daily lives. With two girls in elementary school, my wife, Maryann, and I weren't planning to add me running for City Council to our plate. But we're in a historic moment for Tulsa in which the decisions we make now will have an impact for generations to come, and I believe that the people of District 9 deserve a City Councilor who will stand up for them every single time.
We need proactive leaders who will choose to prioritize the health, welfare, and quality of life of the people they serve.
Tulsa has an opportunity to invest in economic development that prioritizes local entrepreneurship and community-driven policy, find innovative ways to support public education at the local level, keep utility costs down, and to make sure our city remains a welcoming and safe community for all Tulsans.
